Privacy policy
This page explains what information Macwin Software collects through this website, what we use it for and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the topic you chose, your message, and the page you sent it from. To protect the form from spam we also record your IP address and browser details with the enquiry. We save the enquiry in our database and send a copy to macwinsoftware.com@gmail.com. If you email, phone or message us on WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you choose to send.
The form is the only place on this website where you are asked for personal information.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about a project. We use your IP address and browser details only to limit repeated submissions and block spam. We do not sell any of this and we do not use it for advertising.
What this website loads from other companies
The pages load their text fonts from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request, under Google’s own privacy policy.
The pages do not include analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookie is a short-lived security cookie that the contact form uses to prevent forged or repeated submissions; it is deleted when you close your browser and holds no personal information. The social icons and the WhatsApp link are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those services unless you click one.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing macwinsoftware.com@gmail.com. Questions about this policy go to the same address.
